Yes. Therapists have a minimum educational level of a University Degree and are duly registered and licensed by the Ministry of Health. Licensures are renewed annually with continuing education credits in order to maintain licensure.

On your first visit you will have a one-on-one evaluation with either Kafui or Priscilla. This time allows them to develop the right treatment plan for your needs. After the evaluation you will receive a short, initial treatment. The first visit typically lasts 45-90 minutes.

In a  situation where there is no presentation of an acute injury, relevant information will be gathered from the physical examination that will be carried out by your therapist. However should there the presence of an underlying condition that is probably making activities of daily living a challenge then any available x-rays or MRIs related to your condition should be brought along.

You should wear loose, comfortable clothing. Make sure your clothes allow easy access to the area requiring treatment. At best an extra stretch pants or shorts and t shirt should be carried along for exercises and stretch therapy.

Your first visit will typically last 45-90 minutes. Subsequent visits will typically last 60-90 minutes depending on your diagnosis.
